“Cameron’s visit to Fresno State proved that he is a gifted musician and artist. His solo recital was very well received, showcasing his virtuosity and versatility as a performer, while his comments to our students in lessons and a master class were both creative and insightful.”

“As a young entrepreneur and artist, Cameron is immersed in the art of self-promotion and branding. His unique and realistic insight and in-process promotion strategies gave my students perspective beyond the four walls of the university, demonstrating how pieces of an electronic press kit (EPK), as well as branding and promotion strategies can (and should) begin now in order to set them up for success ’in the real world.’”

Students receive one-on-one instruction related to technique, musicality, repertoire, and more.
Students perform solo or ensemble repertoire and receive feedback in front of their peers. This is a wonderful way to provide a low-pressure performance opportunity and turn individual teaching into a relevant group lesson.
Leach offers residencies that can include a mixture of concerto performances, solo recitals, clinics, master classes, private lessons, and individual coaching sessions, tailored to an individual program’s needs, budget, and desired repertoire.
Additionally, Leach currently offers a unique residency centered around electroacoustic percussion music and practical career advice, which, over the course of a week, includes:
A performance of Spiel, Dave Maric’s brand new percussion concerto for electronics and wind ensemble (written exclusively for Leach) — CLICK HERE to listen/peruse
A performance of ELISION, Leach’s entirely electroacoustic solo show
Master class with percussion studio
Clinic: Making the Modern Musician
Private lessons with percussion students
Individual coaching sessions (self-promotion, career-based advice, resumes/CVs, etc.)
Leach presents on a range of topics including musicianship and phrasing, movement and gesture in performance, and contemporary music appreciation for young students. His most recent clinic, Making the Modern Musician, focuses on the discovery and implementation of one’s creative vision, actionable strategies for self-promotion and impactful career-building, and the materials needed to be successful in the digital age.
